Why should you consider employing senior citizens?

There are some situations where a senior citizen may be a cost-competitive answer to your staffing needs. Senior citizens in general are also:

  • More disciplined
  • More responsible
  • Possess business acumen (due to their experience)
  • Employers can benefit from the maturity, experience and wisdom of the elderly.
  • Less likely to job hop
  • Many retirees would be prepared to accept reduced job scope / responsibility and reduction in pay.
  • Lower cost (lower CPF contributions)

What can you expect from the service?

You will be provided with a listing of candidates consisting of names, contacts, brief job experiences and educational qualifications. Typically, we try to fax you the list within 1 to 2 working days. An administrative fee varying with the salary paid for a successful placement will be payable.

What do you have to do?

  • You will need to contact the job seekers directly for interviews and negotiate the terms directly with them
  • You will need to inform us whenever you employ a candidate so that he/she can be taken off the job seeking list. (Otherwise, we will continue to try to place the job seeker)
  • You could consider donating to us to support the cause of senior citizens once you have benefited from the service.
